There should be some snow in northern areas Wednesday evening, with a snow mix and wind gusts of 20 to 30 mph expected further south.

Snow accumulation is expected to be less than an inch, with the weather service saying in its morning forecast statement that “the system is lacking significant moisture.”

The weather service further said, “The more influential weather from this system could end up being the wind and cold air that moves in behind it.”

Thursday could see winds ranging from 20 to 30 mph to 35 to 45 mph.

Temperatures will peak in the mid 40s and a wind advisory may need to be issued.

Friday will be cooler – in the upper 30s as the wind dies down. However, it remains dry on both days.
