New shows and films that can stream on Netflix, Hulu, Prime video, Apple TV and more

It’s not the biggest weekend for new streaming TV shows and films, but it’s a pretty big weekend when you have sports. Super Bowl Lix-Das 59th NFL championship game kicks on Sunday with a half-time show with the instructions of the hip-hop star Kendrick Lamar. The Kansas City Chiefs return again, this time against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The chiefs won the last two championship games. Last year they achieved a victory against the San Francisco 49ers 25 to 22. The previous year they beat the Eagles with 38 to 35 years. In the past five years, the chiefs have only missed a super bowl, and in 2025 it does 5 out of six. When you win this year, it is the first time that a team 3 won successive super bowls. It is impressive, even if I think we are all a little tired to play the same teams year after year. The chiefs are basically the new New England Patriots.

In any case, read on to see what else comes out this weekend. As always, I spend every week to find all the new things that you can see on all the different streaming services. I tested a “what you watch this week” last week to publish on Mondays, and although I think it is a super informative contribution, it didn’t seem to hit the same nerve as my weekend streaming guide. Well!

If you have tips or I missed something, shoot me a message TwitterInstagram or Facebook. You can watch the streaming guidelines here last weekend.

ForbesWhat can be seen this weekend: new shows and films to stream on Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, Apple TV and more

What is new and remarkable this weekend

Invincible – Season 3 (Prime Video)

The excellent animated superhero series by The changing dead The Creator, Robert Kirkman, returned this week. The first three (from seven) episodes are already published in Prime video. This is a great show with excellent writing, characters and a convincing story, but it is also quite dark and cynical and violent. The boys as The Avengers. New episodes will fall every Thursday for the next four weeks.

Apple cider vinegar (Netflix)

An Australian series about a feud between two young health and wellness influencers, one of which specifies to suffer from all possible diseases in order to gain the masses of popularity and sell poor health products and advice. Kaitlyn Dever (Abby in the coming second season of The last of us) plays Belle Gibson, the fraud and Alycia Debnam-Carey (from Fear the dead walking Fame) plays Milla Blake, who actually suffers from cancer. Both characters are based on real people. Devers character is based on and after the actual Belle Gibson, while Debnam Carey’s character is based on Jessica Ainscough. It looks pretty good and really nailed the Aussie accent! All six episodes are now equipped on Netflix with an 84% Rotten tomatoes.

In summer (Hulu)

If you can make it through this trailer without becoming emotionally, you are much more resistant than me. In summer Follows a father who lives in New Mexico and sees his two daughters who live with her mother in California about the summer. He fights with addiction. All three fight with their relationship in the course of this four -part film, the time jump used to show several phases of the family drama. It looks brilliant and powerful, even though it grabs a box with handkerchiefs.

Clean Slate (Prime Video)

Another alienated father-daughter history, although the daughter in question was left behind as a son and has now come back as a daughter. It actually looks pretty good, with a nice mix of humor and heart.

Newtopia (Prime Video)

Half love story, half a zombie show, Newtopie Certainly looks like a new turn. The South Koreans really know how to make great zombie things, so it could be worth checking it.

The Åre Morde – Season 1 (Netflix)

Nordic Noir is a popular crime, and although I have heard mixed things about it, it is certainly worth checking if you enjoy compartments (the type that takes place in cold environments, that is, no actual cold cases).

Marvel’s moon girl and devil dinosaurs – season 2 (Disney+)

For the children, Marvel’s moon girl and devil dinosaurs Should be a funny binge this weekend. This is for the children and children in the heart. It actually rates better than most adult MCU TVs.

Wolfsmann (VoD)

If you missed it Wolfsmann In cinemas you can now rent or buy the film in Prime Video and elsewhere. This werewolf horror film has not come to a good mood for critics, but if they are looking for something scary to see on a cold winter evening, you could make it worse.

September 5 (VOD)

A new narrative of the terrible crisis of the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, this time from the perspective of an American Sports Radio Crew crew. With a 92% criticism for rotten tomatoes and a 91% audience division, this is definitely a film that everyone who is interested in modern history should check out.

Bonus: the wire (HBO / Max)

Why am I currently so back in many new television programs? The answer is simple: The wire Kidnapped me! I saw season 1 in 2005 or 2006 when I was only a child, really, 24 or 25 years old. Then I watched The sopranos And other great HBO shows. Then we had our first child. Consulting convincing TV dramas became extremely difficult with the amount of work and upbringing and lack of sleep. So I have never seen other seasons The wire! I recently saw season 1 since it was two decades since I had seen it, and this time I liked a lot more. Now I have my way through the second season and started season 3. It’s great! If you have put stories about organized crimes, corrupt officials, police forces from the moods of small bureaucrats and politicians and a large cast of characters on both the police and on the criminal side of things, make a shot.

What streams weekly

A number of television programs are currently broadcast weekly, although the only one I treated with summary/reviews Compensation. We will start there!

Severance – Season 2 Is everything I hoped for. The latest episode of Compensation Was one of the best in the entire series, and season 2 is still a wild trip. If you don’t watch because you don’t have Apple TV, it is cheap compared to most other streaming services and has many great shows. If you don’t watch because it is about an office or heard that it is “boring”, just stop listening to listen to the wrong people and listen to me. This is a brilliant series. (Apple TV)

Main goal Continues to radiate new episodes on Apple. This spy thriller follows a mathematical genius that is obsessed with prime numbers that find a short turning path without return. I haven’t started it yet when I got in the first season of lioness and then began to see again The wire. But I’ll check it soon. New episodes fall on Wednesdays. (Apple)

The pictures It’s really great, although I decided not to see it every week and instead let a few episodes build up so that I can separate them all at once. The medical drama follows a extensive line -up of characters in a department for emergency rooms in Pittsburgh and manages to professionally weave all of these stories together. Read my review here. (Max)

Traitor – season 3 is currently the most popular reality TV competition show and I have heard great things, but since I am not a reality TV show fan, I didn’t see her. Perhaps, however, I have to break my own rules just to see what the whole excitement is about. (Peacock)

Dexter: original sin is the show that I look forward to in most week (although I have only seen the entire second season of Compensation). It’s just fun, with a great line -up that plays younger versions of the characters of the original show. We are also up to the wire, with only two more episodes. I don’t want it to end, but I really want to know what happens. Here is my assessment. (Paramount)

paradise Is another show that I started and I am back. I enjoyed the twisted political thriller, which is actually a science fiction show about large, catastrophic events. But after an episode I changed back The wire So I can’t really tell you how it makes progress. (Hulu)

Your friendly neighborhood spider-man Is further fun for the whole family, a very old animation that takes one of the most popular superheroes of all time. Three episodes fall per week. (Disney+)

A number of things come out next week/weekend, and while this weekend felt a bit slow, they soon set up enough overload. What reminds me, I have Screener that I have after shows how how you watched REACHER, Yellow jackets And when I’m lucky The white lotus. Funny times!
