Pakistan has held hope of winning the T20 series with five games in their tour through New Zealand with their breathtaking victory in the third game on Thursday.

It reduced New Zealand’s leadership in the series to a 2-1 advantage and raises the possibility of a dramatic turn after a hard opening for the Pakistan’s tour.

What happened in the first two games of the Pakistani tour?

New Zealand stormed into a 2-0 series in the lead when Pakistan broke through their opening games.

The Kiwis claimed the first game with a nine wrap victory in Christchurch after the tourists had been reduced for 91.

New Zealand Team News

Matt Henry was excluded from the rest of the T20 series.

The Seer missed the final of the Champions Trophy due to a shoulder injury and has left the squad to continue his rehabilitation.

Zak Foulkes keeps his place for the remaining two games in the series after he was originally listed for the first three.

Will O’Rourke will remain in the last two games after they had to expose them to Kyle Jamieson.

The latter was the player of the game in the first game of the series, but had a hard time in the third game under Nawaz ‘rush to difficult.

Pakistan has a much easier setup for the rest of the series and is expected to name the same team that the third game of the series won.

Together with the fallen Babar and Rizwan, Pakistan was already missing the injured duo of Saim Ayub and Fakhar Zaman for the series.

The fifth and last T20 of the series that could be a determination will be played on Wednesday at the Sky Stadium in Wellington.

This will be the 48th T20 meeting between the pages, with Pakistan demanding victory 24 times, while New Zealand won 21 of the games.

What’s next for the two teams?

Pakistan’s tour through New Zealand continues after the T20 series has been completed with a one-day 3-game series of the T20.

The international game itself takes a break around the world, with many of the best stars competing in the Indian Premier League from late March to mid -April.

Pakistan’s next games are in a T20 series with three games in July in the West Indian Islands, followed by an Odi series with three games. New Zealand resumed their games in July with a tour through Zimbabwe.
