Share love with the United Food Bank of Plant City

Thanks to a Thrivent Action subsidy, the members of the Hope Lutheran Church, 2001 North Park Road, Plant City, a little love – 855 pound of it shared with the United Food Bank of Plant City. A member of Hope received a grant from Thrivent Financial to support the food bench. Hope members Gloria and Wayne Warner distributed shopping bags to the municipality with the task of bringing the bags back to hop not only on February 9 with the objects listed in every pocket, but also the pockets with a message from God’s love in good time to Valentine’s Day Decorate day. The community was certainly ready for the challenge and fully overcrowded shopping bags filled the Narthex. According to Gloria Warner, “What can we say more than to God, honor!” Rev. Dean Pfeffer, board member of Hope’s Pastor and Food Bank Board, said: “This was a great opportunity for the members of the Hope to share the gospel in a simple way with so many people. I hope this is a project that the community will carry out every Valentine’s Day. God gave us many opportunities to be his hands and feet in our community, and what a joy it is that we work with our food bench to eliminate an empty bowl at the tables of people. ”
