NFL Insider shares surprising update from Bengal’s’ Plans Star Pass Rusher Trey Hendrickson

Cincinnati – Could the Bengals Trey Hendrickson still swap defensive end?

After Cincinnati had granted the All-Pro-Problem to seek a trade last month, he not only chose the four-time Pro-Bowler, but also hope to sign it to a long-term extension.

While this may still be the case, the NFL insider Tony Pauline rumbles over the Bengals that Hendrickson may act if you can land an Edge -Rusher in the first round of the 2025 NFL design.

“The overwhelming feeling in the league is that the Cincinnati Bengals who have the 17th election determine whether there is a run -on -rush -rushers in the second half of the first round,” wrote Pauline. “If the Bengals take an edge rusher, the locks are expected, and at least seven or possibly eight are used before day 1. And it can also create a situation in which the teams can try to exchange the first round to make a pass -Rusher.

If there is a run on Edge -Rushers, Hendrickson could be included.

“Many tell me that the Bengals will do exactly that. Take an Edge -Rusher with the 17th choice and then exchange Trey Hendrickson on the Draft Weekend or shortly after the seven laps,” wrote Pauline.

Hendrickson led the NFL with 17.5 sacks last season. He is in the last year of his contract and is said to earn $ 16 million in basic salary. He wants a long -term contract that offers security (guaranteed money) and several years.

If the Bengals believe that they have not returned with Hendrickson, they may consider swapping him in the design evening, but all the signs show on Cincinnati who tries to work out a deal with their Star Pass -Rusher.

It would also make no sense for the Bengals to exchange Hendrickson after the design, unless it would be a player for players. The NFL design of 2025 is essentially an artificial period. The Bengals want to move Hendrickson in this year’s design selection when you decide.
