It is a battle of the U -Bahn division, tonight in Columbus with the jackets and Rangers, both of which follow a playoff spot. Columbus is just one point back from a Wild Card spots and four points in front of the Rangers who played one less game. In their only meeting this season, the Rangers survived the jackets 1-0 in a shootout when Igor Shesterrkin Daniil Tarasov retired. The Rangers won six of the last eight meetings between the two teams, but the last two fall in Columbus.

Tonight we have a completely different goalkeeper Matchup, because the Rangers will probably start Jonathan quickly after Shesterkin started against the Pittsburgh Penguins last night. The jackets are expected to fit with Elvis Merzlikins. Quick has a victory against the Golden Knights in his last start (at home), but has lost his last four on the street and has given up three or more goals (19 total) in all four games.

Chris Kreider is in particular a rangers player who enjoys seeing Elvis Merzlikins at the other end of the ice. Kreider has six goals in seven games against Elvis. The Jackets Zach -WiSki expanded his home tip series to 20 games on Thursday, but was held on to just one shot on goal despite seven. In Wereenski’s last three home games, when he set three shots or less, he followed six, seven and five hit shots. Justin Danforth, who was scored against Utah, has two goals in four games against Jonathan Quick. Ivan Provorov has goals in the last three jackets.

It is the father’s journey for the Pittsburgh Penguins, and it has a good start with a 3-2 win against the Rangers on Friday at MSG, although both Sidney Crosby and Geno Malkin were traveling with injuries. Malkin is from week to week and the status of Crosby is probably a decision for season. The pens scored three goals in three of their last four games. Pittsburgh has won seven of the last 10 meetings against the Flyers and scored four or more goals in all seven wins.

The flyers have lost their last five and three goals or more in four of the five losses and four or more goals three times. Samuel Ersson is expected to start for Philadelphia today. If you go into the numbers, find that the Penguine Rickard Rakell and Philip Tomasino each have three goals in two games compared to the Flyers NetMinder. Michael Bunting scored twice when the Ersson penguins and the Flyers defeated.

10 p.m. et

Chicago Blackhawks Games are all talked about how the first period over 1.5 goals was a great earner (18-3). The Seattle Kraken (15-3) are located right behind. I’ll skip again in the first period tonight. It is also a good place for the Flames tonight, which are as a home favorite 10-3 in contrast to 6-8 as an outsider for home. I am aware that the flames in their last five home games are only 1-4, but three of the four losses came home as outsiders. If the first time does not emit cash, I will still be twice in the second period.

NHL sayings: 1st Period over 1.5 (-120) -1.5 units
Calgary Flames ML (-130) -1 unit
