North Carolina 78-71 Boston College (March 6, 2025) Spielrekap

Greensboro, NC-Lexi Donarski scored 20 points on Thursday and 14th place in North Carolina with 78: 71, to come to the quarter-finals of the ACC tournament for the third time in four years.

North Carolina (26-6), the No. 5 seed, will play on Friday No. 4 and the 22nd state of Florida. The Seminols won the first meeting 86-84 on January 26th when Ta’niya Latson scored in the Summer.

North Carolina started the game with an 11-0 run and had the lead until Kennedi Jackson scored 1:58 on the left in the third quarter to bring the Boston College in the lead with 51: 50. It was bound to enter the fourth before Kaylah Ivey and Teya Sidberry were combined for a 9-0 run with three 3-clayers to push the Eagles forward.

Alyssa UStby started a 19:3 run, which Donarski left with a 3 pointer with 1:44 to give North Carolina a lead of 73: 66 when Boston College 1 went off the field for 7.

The Boston College was good from the 3-point area with an 11 second lead, but Tatum Greene’s shot was not fell and Donarski did two free throws to seal it.

Donarski scored over 20 points for the first time since the UNC Wilmington game on November 7th. Indya Nivar had 14 points, five rebounds and five templates for North Carolina. Ustby and Lanie Grant each scored 11.

Greene had 18 points and four 3 points for the Boston College (16-17), Sama No. 12. Ivey added 15 points and Sidberry 12.

The Eagles combined their season high with 12 3-converter in 26 attempts.
