Nottingham Forest against Ipswich: FA Cup Fifth round – Live | FA Cup

Key events

Will packOur correspondent at the City Ground tonight was in contact to say that he was reliably informed that the English manager Thomas Tuchel was present tonight (with his first game in less than three weeks). The bad news for Tuchel is that Morgan Gibbs-White and Liam Delap are both on the respective benches of their side.

Could Alex Palmer shake his way into Tuchel’s third keeper? In view of the latest achievements, he certainly has a chance from outside.

Callum Hudson -odoi may be the only person who could do the squad, although they may remember that he and TT failed in Chelsea.

Nottingham Forest hasChris Wood and Morgan Gibbs-White called a strong side. Ipswich did not prioritize with manager Kieran McKenna (and unfortunately) on Saturday after Crystal Palace.

preamble

Cynics who believe in income and overhead costs and boring, financially sensitive things like this would say that both Nottingham Forest and Ipswich Town have to run deep into the FA Cup like a hole in the head. But there is the survival of the Champions League Qualification/Premier League for which you can fight that you could hear a managing director somewhere.

Those who believe in fame and winning-at-at-art and silver and silverware and make trophy fans happy could differ. Margaret Thatcher was still a prime minister when Nottingham Forest recently won a large trophy (the 1990 league cup) 35 years ago. Ipswich has not won anything since 1992, the title of Football League Second Division and no large trophy since the UEFA Cup 1980–81.

Even if the league season just approached the house, a quarter-finals of the FA Cup against Brighton remains a tempting price for the winner of the last game this evening, and this is a winning game for both teams, although forest is of course the favorites.

In addition, so many so-called larger clubs have already excluded from the competition of this season and the whole damned thing won-the FA Cup, imagine! – is a realistic and overwhelming view!

Let’s hope that both sides do it.

Start: 7.30 p.m. GMT
