Open-world RPG Steam price drops to under $2, act fast – Steam

The Steam Autumn Sale is here and Valve is once again threatening to drain our collective bank accounts by offering some of the best discounts you’ve probably seen all year.

One of the discounts on offer is for one of the most overlooked games of 2015, developed by the creators of the Just Cause series.

Crazy Max is an action-adventure title from developer Avalanche Studios that you can currently purchase on Steam for the low price of £1.59. Less than a can of dog food these days.

When the game launched in 2015, it didn’t exactly receive the most overwhelming critical response, but looking at the Steam reviews you wouldn’t think so.

Reviews for Max Max The average was around 7, giving it a top critic average of 69/100 (don’t tell) on OpenCritic.

However, the Steam reviews paint a completely different picture. Over 90% of the 48,000+ reviews on Steam are positive, which is worth it Crazy Max an overall rating of “Very Positive” on the platform.

Warhammer 40,000 Warpforge is a free-to-play title that recently landed on Steam.

So where does this separation come from? It might have something to do with it Mad Max’s Price.

In 2015 Crazy Max was a full-price title for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, since it landed on Steam, you could grab the title for around £16.

And now, with the current 90% discount, you can get the title for around $2.

Now, I’m not going to pretend it’s not worth more than a try at this price. However, I would like to warn you to temper your expectations a bit.

Crazy Max is a fun little title, but the longer you play, the more monotonous it becomes. It’s definitely not the 9/10 hidden gaming blast that the Steam reviews make it out to be, but at the current price it’s a steal.
