Orlando Wetter: The serious storm forecast on Wednesday, time axis, main effects

Wednesday is a Fox 35 Weather Impact Day Because there is a decent chance for thunderstorms and showers in parts of central floridas. Before the storms arrive, a large snack is the warm and windy conditions when they climb out of the door.

Here is what you should know about the latest weather forecast, time axis and possible effects.

Wednesday forecast: strong winds and chance of storms

Timetable:

On Wednesday it is a windy and possibly rainy day in central florida. There is a possibility that some of the showers and storms will become serious, but this chance is low (5-14%).

A Wind counseling is in force for the very central florida from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour or higher. Make sure you secure all furniture or loose outdoor items!

These warm southern winds help to give our temperatures a large thrust, with the heights reaching the upper 70s and low 80s.

When does the rain most likely arrive?

The best rain and storms are opportunities between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. for most of Brevard, Lake, Orange, Oscola, Seminole and Volusia Counties.

  • North Florida/Panhandle: 6 a.m. – 8 a.m.
  • Gainesville/Ocala: 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
  • Leesburg, Deland, the villages: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Orlando, Kissimmee, Winter Haven: 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Main weather threats:

The main effects of strong storms will damage wind gusts (45-55 miles per hour), heavy rain and pond on streets, small hail and the low risk of one or two tornado.

Storm forecast: How likely?

Areas northwest of the I-4 have the best chance of seeing a narrow group of robust storms because the system falls almost quickly as soon as it reaches the subway in Orlando and the I-4 corridor.

What causes the stormy weather?

A strong cold front that moves from the northwest will help to bring shower and storms to central florida as early as 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Our ingredients are not as cheap or ripe for widespread storms like areas further north. We will be a whole at the end of this system, so there is only a short window of some isolated strong to heavy storms.

When does the stormy weather leave central florida?

The system tries to move in and off pretty quickly, with the majority of central florida dry out before sunset.
