Pa. Woman gets another chance on “Jeopardy!”

For $400 please give her a second chance!

A Pennsylvania woman gets another chance on “Jeopardy!” after losing her first round in the fall.

PhillyVoice reports how Zoe Grobman – a Philadelphia-based therapist – made her debut on the game show during the October 15 episode, alongside returning champion Eamonn Campbell and University of Pennsylvania student Rishabh Wuppalapati. Wuppalapati took the win.

However, the same PhillyVoice article states how Grobman will return to the show during the Second Chance Tournament. She will compete against other former players who didn’t make it far on the show for a spot in the next Tournament of Champions.

“I was upset about the $1,600 math clue I upset,” Grobman wrote on “Jeopardy!” Subreddit after her loss. “I saw the multiplication sign, but 9-16-25 is such a distinctive Pythagorean triple that my brain just went on autopilot.

“However, (host) Ken (Jennings) complimented me on my speed on the $2,000 clue, which definitely made me very proud.”

Grobman added: “Overall, I’m as proud of my performance as one can be without winning. I pulled off a major turnaround in Double Jeopardy with a swing of about $10,000 against two very strong opponents and managed to become the returning champion. I’m proud of my Jeopardy! silver medal!”

This time it’s about going for gold, Ms. Grobman.

You can catch them – and other “Jeopardy!” contestants – during the Second Chance Tournament weekdays at 7 p.m. on ABC from Monday, December 30th to Friday, January 10th.
