Pam Bondi takes more care of stopping Tesla protests than defending our democracy

The apoplectic reactions of Attorney General Pam Bondi on vandalism and arson in Tesla dealers and exhibition rooms included their identification of these actions as domestic terrorism. If she refers to the serious criminal acts that are allegedly committed by the three people who are already in connection with attacks on Tesla locations, Bondi is right. These measures seem to comply with the federal definition of domestic terrorism, and the perpetrators should be pursued by the damage that they have done.

But I am more concerned that Bondi, while I correctly characterizes certain criminal actions, approaches the violation of some rights on the way.

Bondi is a Trump loyalist, and Musk’s wealth and influence probably make Trump’s most consequent allies.

I am aware that the uniquely focused rhetoric and public representations of Bondi appear motivated by the political protection of the founder of Tesla, Elon Musk, and could easily lead to abuse and abuse of federal law enforcement agencies, which have tens of thousands of innocent Americans who simply exercise their free language rights near Tesla location every weekend. Bondi better refreshed her understanding of the constitutionally protected rights of freedom of speech and assembly, as some activist groups explained a Tesla day of the campaign with protests on Saturday, which are planned at 277 Tesla locations in the USA, and 500 all over the world.

Bondi seems to be fixed on what happens at Tesla locations, how it is reflected in her language. In a doj press release about the three people who are charged for crimes, she said: “The days in which crimes were contested without consequence are a warning: If you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla real estate, the Ministry of Justice will bring you behind grid.”

First, three arrests and even 80 reports on vandalism do not represent a “wave of domestic terrorism”. This is because each of these reports must be examined independently of each other whether we want to call them domestic terrorism. Second, our Attorney General seems to have forgotten the part of our judicial system, in which prosecutors, courts and defenders are involved. Bondi seems ready to jump to “… get behind grids”.

Musk spent $ 288 million to choose Donald Trump. He threatened to finance primary GOP challengers against elected Republicans who dared to cross Trump. And he threw his money into the race of the Supreme Court of Wisconsin to ensure a conservative victory. Bondi is a Trump loyalist, and Musk’s wealth and influence probably make Trump’s most consequent allies.

What does this mean for the well-made citizens who appear in their nearby Tesla showroom in order to express their objections peacefully against a non-selected, unnecessary multibillionary, as if he were co-president and carelessly dismantled government institutions like him a drunken Jenga player?

Corridimens can fail under the intensive pressure to prevent Musk’s electric car company from falling down the stock value and sales further down.

The investigation of domestic terrorism is the responsibility of the FBI, which falls into the Ministry of Justice of Bondi and is led by Kash Patel, another Trump loyalist. During my FBI career, I worked and supervised terrorism in the investigation into the investigation. As soon as the FBI opens such a case, especially if it is the risk of terrorism in a public protest, the office can open its tool kit. The physical monitoring, including photography of people, cars and license plates, analysis of the device location, inserting undercover active ingredients or informants, even if you use geo-fenecing technologies to identify the existing cell phone numbers, can be used to target those who are suspected of domestic terrorism.

Here the thin boundary between the alignment of a terrorist and the violation of the rights of peaceful demonstrators can become even thinner. There are strict protocols that serve as guardrails about how the FBI conducts in public meetings. But with Trump loyalist at the top of the Doj and in the two upper positions of the FBI, these guardrails can fail under the intensive pressure to prevent Musk’s electric car company from falling into stock value and turnover.

MP Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, said during a Tesla protesting call last week that Muschus had to be “depressed”. That didn’t sound like violence for me. Nevertheless, Bondi replied during a appearance in the “Sunday morning -futures” in Fox News: “She is a chosen civil servant, so she has to step very carefully because Elon Musk will not happen, and we will fight to protect all Tesla owners in this country.”

This is interesting from Bondi, who helped Trump in his attempts to fight the result of the 2020 elections, and refused to answer potential pardon for the more than 1,000 accused and condemned in our Capitol during her hearing of her Senate hearing about potential pardon for the more than 1,000 accused and condemned. These people tried to overthrow the presidential elections – and Trump act Forgive them. It seems to me that Bondi is more interested in protecting a car seller than a democracy.
