Park City officials are scheduled Friday to discuss the future of SR 248, the state highway that serves as one of the community’s gateways. There have long been complaints about traffic congestion sometimes stretching from Prospector to Quinn’s Junction along SR 248, which is signed as Kearns Boulevard within Park City limits. Part of the Park City Council discussion could include a wide range of possible traffic mitigation measures, such as a gondola or aerial tram, light rail and commuter rail. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. in the Marsac building. For more information, visit the city website parkcity.org.
