Patriots make practice squad changes

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today that DE Truman Jones has been signed to the practice squad and G Michael Jordan has been released from the practice squad.

Jones24, was originally signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as a rookie free agent out of Harvard on May 6, 2023. The 6-foot-1, 255-pound player spent the entire 2023 season and part of the 2024 season on the Kansas City Chiefs’ practice squad. He was released from Kansas City’s practice squad on November 26, 2024. He played 30 games for Havard and finished with 88 total tackles and 28½ sacks.

JordanThe 26-year-old player started 11 games for the Patriots at left guard in 2024. He was called up from the practice squad to the active roster for the first two games of the season and started in both games. He was also called up to the active squad last week. The 6-foot-1, 315-pounder was signed from the practice squad to the 53-man roster on September 16, 2024, released on November 26, and signed to the practice squad on November 29. Jordan was signed by New England to a futures contract on January 24, 2024. He originally entered the NFL as a fourth-round draft pick (136).Th overall) from Cincinnati in the 2019 NFL Draft from Ohio State. Jordan was released by New England on August 28 and signed to the practice squad on August 29. He played for Cincinnati (2019–20), Carolina (2021–22), and then spent the 2023 season on Green Bay’s practice squad. In total he has played 67 games with 40 starts.
