Those who were excited to see Paul Simon with Sabrina Carpenter on “SNL50” on stage will be happy that his performing days are not behind him.

On Tuesday, Simon announced his social media that he was on the way on the quiet celebration tour. Tickets will be offered for sale on Friday on Friday.

The tour begins on April 4 in New Orleans and ends on August 3 in Seattle.

Simon, who lost most of his hearing in the left ear, should retire in 2018 after he said goodbye tour at that time.

In 2023, according to The Hollywood Reporter, he dealt with the challenge of his hearing loss during a Q&A after the screening Q&A for the documentary “In Restless Dreams: The Music of Paul Simon” at Toronto International Film Festival.

“I didn’t quite accept it, but I start with it,” he said.

Last year in an interview with Guardian Simon, his melody changed a bit and said he was “optimistic” to return to the stage.

“I was pessimistic six months ago,” he said at the time.

Simon and Carpenter started last Sunday with a duet from “HomeWard Bound”.

Simon rose for the first time in the 1960s as half of the Duos Simon & Garfunkel to musical recognition before he had an award -winning solo career.
