Also keep in mind how long Universal films take to stream after their theatrical release.

This year Abigail It took 91 days to start streaming after it hit theaters, while both The Guy case And Twister lasted 119 days after their respective premiere dates:

  • Abigail
    • Cinema: April 19, 2024
    • Streaming: July 19, 2024 (91 days)
  • The Guy case
    • Cinema: May 3, 2024

Bad part 1 is already a huge success at the box office, having grossed $360 million through December 1 (ten full days in theaters). This total is already the thirteenth highest grossing of 2024 and is only $10 million behind Twister‘ entire cinema run.
