Penn State can reach the Big Ten title game simply by beating Maryland after Michigan upsets Ohio State

Penn State football can qualify for the Big Ten title game by simply beating Maryland Today. The Nittany Lions will clinch a spot in the conference championship thanks to a win against the Terrapins Michigan disturbing Ohio State on Saturday in Columbus. With a win today at Beaver Stadium, the Lions would be 11-1 and secure the tiebreaker against Indiana for the right to play Oregon in the Big Ten championship game on Saturday in Indianapolis. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET. CBS will televise the game.

Penn State is the 24.5-point favorite over Maryland. The Lions will likely be without starting receiver Trey Wallace, who is questionable on the Big Ten’s availability report. The Terrapins, meanwhile, appear ready to begin reinforcements MJ Morris in place of the injured regular player Billy Edwards. Penn State plans to travel to Lucas Oil Stadium for the conference title game for the first time since 2016. Of course it won back then.
