Penn State vs. Louisville women's volleyball today: channel, time, streaming

The Penn State women’s volleyball team will play for the NCAA Women’s Volleyball National Championship against the Louisville Cardinals on Sunday, while the Nittany Lions seek their first national championship since 2014.

It is Penn State’s first appearance in the finals since defeating BYU in Oklahoma City in 2014 and follows an emotional five-set win over Nebraska in which Penn State rallied from 2-0. Superstar Jess Mruzik led Penn State in kills with 26 in this comeback win, a performance she will look to emulate against a Louisville team that may be without leader Anna DeBeer.

Penn State coach Katie Schumacher-Cawley, who is battling Stage 2 breast cancer, wants to be the first woman to lead her team to a women’s volleyball national championship. Regardless of whether it is Schumacher-Cawley or Louisville’s Dani Busboom Kelly, the winner will go down in volleyball history with this honor.
