Peter Andre talks about baby plans and emphasizes: “I’m a cool father.”

Peter Andre has declared he is done having more children. The “Mysterious Girl” singer, who just turned 51, is a father to five children – Junior, 19, Princess, 17, with ex Katie Price and Amelia, 10, Theo, eight, and Arabella, eight months, with wife Emily MacDonagh – has decided it is time to close the chapter on expanding his family.

Speaking to Heat magazine, he shared: “I had my first child at 31 and my last child at 51. And that’s my last child.” He reflected on two decades of parenting and said: “20 years of children too have!” and admitted: “It was an amazing experience, but I think what happened this time is that I realized that this was our last.” Peter, who once dreamed of a big family, now knows his limits: “I never.” had a limit before – that’s it I’ve always said I’d like to have five or six children, but now I know this is it.

Age brings new perspectives, especially when it comes to sleep: “At 51, sleep deprivation feels a little different than at 31.”

The pop star also spoke about his personal growth, admitting that although he was “a bit arrogant” when he was younger, fatherhood has “made him better.” Now in his fifties, he has discovered more patience and believes he has “become a much better person.”

With a career that includes various ventures including stints on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! When he appears on stage as Frankie Valli, Peter still maintains a sense of humor about his father status, admitting, “I’m a terrible dad, but I’m also a cool dad.”

He said: “I get dad points if, for example, I introduce them to The Teletubbies or do something on Britain’s Got Talent and they meet Amanda Holden.”

“In a way I scare people with my jokes and stuff, but on the other hand I’m cool because they get so much to do thanks to my work.”

Peter’s wife Emily, who works as an NHS doctor, recently shared an update about their youngest child Arabella with her social media followers.

She wrote on Instagram: “I’m very, very excited because we’ve reached something of a milestone with Belle cutting her first tooth here. So I’m going to brush her teeth for the first time today.”

She continued: “Now I wanted to do this and make a short video about it to explain how important it is for babies to brush their teeth from a young age. It’s just a matter of getting them used to it and getting used to the feel of the toothbrush and toothpaste and can prevent tooth decay and dental problems for the rest of their lives.
