Phil Collins fights to fight to make new music while he is “very sick”

The former front man of Genesis, Phil Collins, has not felt “hungry” recently to make new music, and he attributes the problem to his health problems.

In a rare interview for the British music magazine Mojo’s April edition, the 74-year-old Collins described the mental block that he experiences when he tries to create new works.

“I keep thinking that I should go down to the studio and see what happens,” he said in an excerpt of the interview that published on Tuesday on the Mojo website. “But I don’t have it anymore. The thing is, I was sick, I mean very sick.”

The interview extract has not clarified Collins’ current complaints.
