Piaa Rules Meadville, Uniontown, expires according to Crowd Brawl; Hershey drives up

After a consideration weekend, the Piaa found that both Meadville and Unionville after a fight in the crowd that ended the game on Friday in Meadville left its 5A-Jungs basketball-state playoff start in the first round after a fight in the crowd.

“Due to the obvious violations of the Piaa statute, the Basketball game Meadville against Uniontown is recorded as a decay for every team”, the Piaa Announced on X, formerly Twitter.

The announcement comes After the incidentwho appeared in a competition with a little more than 3 minutes that Meadville won 63-55.

Several adults were taken away in handcuffs and the game was not yet finished.

With the decay, Hershey will officially rise to the 5a State quarter-finals when the Trojans expected the winner after a victory over Penn-Trafford.

The Piaa also announced that both Meadville and Uniontown will be removed from the state tournament of the next season, unless the provisions are met.

Both schools have to present the Piaa an action plan in which the “processes are present to prevent such situations from appearing in the future by March 19”.

Players and coaches in the teams of the next year must complete the NFHS sportsman hip modules and identify the viewers in the incident whose identities are known to be banned by all school-sponsored activities by June 15, 2026.

The Piaa also directed the schools for not addressing the unsportsmanlike behavior of her viewers.
