Pirates put Nick Gonzales on IL with ankle break

The pirates announced this second Baseman Nick Gonzales Is on the way to the 10-day injured list after he has suffered a fracture not weakened in his left ankle. Fellow Enmanuel Valdez was called back to take the active squad square.
