Pistons’ Tobias Harris implies that Knicks are soft: ‘Part of our gameplans’

Detroit – Tobias Harris grinned when he gave his answer.

Last year he played with the 76s against the Knicks in the playoffs and this year does this again as the key starter on the piston.

What did he notice about the personality of this year’s Knick team compared to last year?

“It is certainly a different dynamic,” Harris said on Thursday morning at Shootaround before game 3. “That’s all I will say … … it is part of our gameplans.”

The Knicks made two blockbuster trades and made up a significant capital in the low season to acquire Karl-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges in order to get into a candidate who could compete with the Celtics and other elite teams in the east. But they lost Julius Randle and Donte Divincenzo in the trade for cities and Isaiah Hartenstein was expelled in the free agency.

Randle, Divincenzo and Hartenstein made a large part of the kink available as three of their toughest and physical players last year. This identity was apparently missing this year without it.

And in the first two games in the series, the pistons -who have built their call in this breakout season in terms of Outencing opponents, bullied the kinks regarding their physicality and aggressiveness.

Last year the Knicks were usually the bullies. That was certainly true when they defeated Harris’ 76ers in six games in the first round.

In the first two games in this series, the pistons threw the first blows and the Knicks played their hind foot.

“We just play super hard.” Let the referees and the other team set to us. “

Harris himself has mostly teamed up with cities that have four centimeters and 22 pounds on him. Cities Harris and other piston defenders should impose its size on paper.

But he hadn’t really made it in the first two games.

“I definitely hug it,” said Harris. “For me it is only physically. Make sure it looks hard. Make sure that every look he gets has to work for it.”
