Kendra Wilkinson shared an honest message about aging and weight gain on Instagram on Sunday.

The 39-year-old former Playboy pin-up, who admitted last year she was “mentally ill” while filming her real estate show, captivated her 3.1 million audience as she shared a photo and video update.

Wilkinson, who grew up in San Diego, posed in front of a full-length bathroom mirror in a white tank top and black leggings.

The mother of two, who shares 15-year-old son Hank Jr. and 10-year-old daughter Alijah with her ex-husband Hank Baskett, 42, told fans she was feeling good and was “mentally healthy.”

She wrote in a thoughtful caption: “Yes, I’ve gained weight.” Yes, I’m aging. Yes, I’m not the girl I was before (Playboy Girl), but for once I feel good and sane.’

And the proud mother enthused: “Children are my everything.” I feel pretty balanced. I’m working out and cooking a lot more. Golf, work. No housekeeper or nanny.’

The message continued: “For those of you who hate my new weight, be 40 and know that I am finally happy, healthy and at peace in life.”

“Leave me alone and respect that I’m finally where I actually want to be.”

The former reality TV personality turns 40 on June 12.

Preempting critics, she said: “Almost 40 is a great feeling, and yes, for the people who criticize my drinking… I understand you and this will be monitored better.”

She admitted: “Drinking too much is definitely drinking too much, but you know what’s coming in JUNE…” Shots. I love you.’

Earlier this month, Kendra shared another check-in with her audience.

Along with a carousel of pictures, she wrote: “This week was about letting go and appreciating life.” Set some realistic goals.

“I’m bringing my mind, my body and my soul back.” I value my children and friends very much and am so grateful for my job and all the good people around me. I will be watching my alcohol consumption over the next few months and look forward to turning 40 in June.”

She told People in November, “I kind of regret filming my last show because I wasn’t really ready.”

“I was feeling a bit mentally unwell and wasn’t prepared to be in front of the camera yet. “I wasn’t fully healed or ready yet. Now that’s where I feel,” she explained.
