PlayStation’s new free open-world game is already a hit – Playstation

A brand new free-to-play title arrived on PlayStation consoles last night and is already receiving absolutely rave reviews.

InFold Games, the developers behind titles like Love and Deepspace And Mr. Love: The Queen’s Choice (didn’t know my autobiography was already published), released their new game, Infinity Nikkiyesterday in the world.

If you’re not familiar with the game in any way, just give me a second to describe it before I tell you about the test results. It will be worth it, I promise.

Infinity Nikki From what I can tell after reading several reviews and watching hours of gameplay videos, this is a game about dressing up.

There’s obviously more to it than that, as there’s a relatively expansive world to explore, several mini-games to play, and even a story to play through, which is pretty good in all respects.

Ok, that’s out of the way, 92% of reviewers on OpenCritic recommend the game and on Metacritic it currently sits at 80 out of 100.

IGN’s Carli Velocci even gave it a 9/10 and stated as much Infinity Nikki is, in her conclusion, “completely girly positivity wrapped in a pink and sparkly package.”

Look, I’ll be honest with you, I never thought for a second that this was a game that would play me.

I’m not against cute things, and I’m not trying to say I’m too manly for it or anything (I actually own two pink t-shirts, thank you very much), but I just never thought that Infinity Nikki would be my thing.

But now I’ve watched all these gameplay videos… I think I understand the hype.

Infinity Nikki just looks cozy and simple. Stress-free and healthy. The kind of game you start after losing five online ranked games in a row.

I started installing before I even wrote this. I’ll tell you tomorrow morning what my favorite dress is.
