Power Ranking all 6 MLB divisions in the 2025 season

2. American League Ost5 of 6

MLB: April 05 Blue Jays at Yankees

The Al East is a department with five teams that you can see realistically to create the post -season, an assertion that probably only affects another division in baseball (NL Central).

In all likelihood, the Al East will produce several playoff teams in 2025.

Admittedly, the Toronto Blue Jays won only 74 games last season and are organized in a strange place, as both Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette enter the contract years.

But they added Anthony Santander, Max Scherzer, Jeff Hoffman and Andrés Giménez this off -season, so that General Manager Ross Atkins – who could be warm – that the JAYS will fight this season.

The New York Yankees won the Al East with 94 victories last year and reached the World Series, but it is unclear how relevant it is now.

Gone are Juan Soto, Gleyber Torres, Anthony Rizzo, Nestor Cortes, Clay Holmes and Tommy Kahnle. In are Max Fried, Devin Williams, Cody Bellinger and Paul Goldschmidt.

The 2024 Yankees were not a perfect team, but they were probably a better one than that with the manager Aaron Boone his season will start 2025, especially with Gerrit Cole, Giancarlo Stanton and Luis Gil, who have already been injured.

Are the Baltimore Orioles better now than a year ago? It is complicated.

Corbin Burnes and Santander by Charlie Morton, Tyler O’Neill and Tomoyuki Sugano were overwhelming for a team that probably only has to win with Gunnar Henderson and Adley Rutschman for a few more years.

At the same time, the Bullpen should be drastically improved with the return of Félix Bautista and a full season by Seranthony Domínguez.

If one of your talented young player Jackson Holliday, Samuel Basallo and Coby Mayo-in are developed a star, you could definitely win more games of the regular season than 91 from a year ago.

The Boston Red Sox undoubtedly improved in this off -season by crosping an ASA in Garrett and buying a Star infield in Alex Bregman.

If one from Walker Buehler or Lucas Giolito recaptured their ACE form, Boston will also have an elite rotation with Tanner Houck and Brayan Bello behind crochet. Roman Anthony, Kristian Campbell and Marcelo Mayer-three of the best position prospects in the baseball and all their debut this season.

It can be a bit of a risk to roll with Liam Hendriks and Aroldis Chapman than their two helper helpers with the highest liver in this phase of their excellent career. However, if the installation and rotation are as good as expected, the Chief Baseball Officer Craig Breslow can improve the Bullpen on the trading sterine.

Finally, the Tampa Bay rays Ace Shane McClanahan will get back after missing the entire Tommy John operation. They also added Ha-Song Kim to the first few months of shoulder injuries-what manager Kevin Cash will give flexibility in the infield.

But while Junior Caminero could be this year’s breakout superstar, it is a little difficult to choose the rays due to their stadium situation.

Hurricane Milton destroyed Tropicana Field and forced the rays to play their home games in George M. Steinbrenner Field, which is a beautiful place for spring training, but fascinated in summer.

For this reason, they only play 16 of their 51 games at home between July and August. That will be a difficult route.
