The number of victims of the alleged Vehicle tab in Munich on Thursday is now at least 36 years old, including a number of serious injuries, the Munich police said at a press conference on Friday.

Two of the victims of the attack suffered very serious injuries, including a small child, said the Munich police officer, Christian Huber.

A 2-year-old girl who was treated in the Haun Children’s Hospital in Munich was in a critical condition in the intensive care unit, a hospital spokesman had previously said.

The police believe that a 24-year-old man deliberately drove his car to a union rally near Stiglmaierplatz in Munich’s city center.

The man, an Afghan citizen who arrived as an asylum seeker in Germany and was in the country because of a valid residence permit, was quickly arrested by police officers who had accompanied the rally and were kept in custody.

A total of 14 injured people were treated at the two institutions of the Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) hospital. Some patients were seriously injured and four had to be operated immediately.
