Preview: Coventry City against Leeds United

Leeds United will be interested in extending your sparkling form on Wednesday evening when you travel to the Midlands to face Coventry City in the Sky Bet Championship.

The whites sit on the table and put an excellent display to equip Cardiff City 7-0 in the Elland Road in their latest venue.

Strikes from Brenden Aaronson and Manor Solomon brought Daniel Farke’s team into a two-goal lead during the break before Dan James, Willy Gnonto, Mateo Joseph and a Joël Piroe clip completed the Rout on home soil.

The resounding victory over the Bluebirds was the greatest victory of the club in 52 years, which corresponded to the same balance against Southampton in 1972!

The result also expanded the clean leaves of United to five games in all competitions and moved them to 63 points after 30 games.

In the meantime, Coventry is 11th place in the overall ranking after winning her last four games. Most recently, the Sky Blues won an important 2-0 win against Swansea City, thanks to the gates of Ellis Simms and Brandon Thomas-Asante.

The two sides have already met in this campaign, with the white ones being ahead. Leeds fired strikes from Gnonto, Jayden Bogle and Piroe for a comfortable 3-0 victory.

The campaign of the Coventry Building Society’s arena begins at 7.45 p.m.
