Prince Harry “for inferior treatment” for security agreements, says lawyer

The Court of Appeal heard today that Prince Harry’s legal dispute against a judgment of a judgment of the Supreme Court, which supported a step towards deciding on security for his visits to Great Britain from case to case.

The Duke of Sussex came to court shortly after 09:30 and sat in the center of the room throughout the process.

He previously emphasized the importance of security for his children – he wants them to feel at home in Great Britain.

Harry’s lawyer, Shaheed Fatima KC, said he was “excellent” for inferior treatment – when she argued that the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVEC) did not follow its standard procedures to maintain expert analyzes that were confronted by the Duke before changing its security agreements.

Last year, the High Court ruled that Ravec’s decision had not given any illegality.

In written submissions for today’s hearing, the government lawyer said the appeal procedure presented arguments based on “small parts of the evidence” – it includes “a continued failure to see wood for the trees”.

The hearing will resume a second day with more from the government case tomorrow, whereby a final judgment will be due in writing at a later date.
