Quaker Oats is reminiscent of 10,000 boxes of pancake mix for milk allergies

The Quaker Oats Co. has called back 10,000 boxes of pancake mixture because it contains milk that is not declared on the label and could be a risk of potentially dangerous allergic reactions.

The company based in Chicago, a unit of Pepsico, recalled 2 pound boxes with original pancakes Pearl Milling Company & Waffle mixtures sold in shops in 11 states. Consumers could have already bought the affected pancake mix in November 2024. The boxes have an upc code of 30000 65040 and a best-by-date of September 13, 2025.

The mix, which was previously sold as aunt Jemima Pancake Mix, was sent to the shops in Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Utah and Wisconsin.

People with allergies or sensitivities against milk could develop a serious or life -threatening reaction if they consume the recalled mix. No allergic reactions were reported in connection with the recall, the company said. Consumers with such conditions should discard the product.
