“Raiders expected to make big move with Maxx Crosby”

It’s been another miserable season for the Las Vegas Raiders, which means another year of disappointment for defensive end Maxx Crosby.

Crosby is one of the best players in football, but he has only made the playoffs once since being drafted by the Raiders in 2019.

All the losses must be frustrating for the superstar pass rusher, which has led some people to wonder if Las Vegas could put on a blockbuster competition in the offseason.

Remember: The teams asked via Crosby back at the close of trading.

Could Las Vegas actually put the 27-year-old up for sale in the coming months?

Spotrac’s Michael Ginnitti doesn’t seem to think so, as he predicts the Raiders will sign Crosby for three years and $100 million.

“Crosby should be seeking a new deal this spring, but does it make sense for him and the Raiders to agree to something significant now?” Ginnitti wrote. “It will take an aggressive offseason to truly right this ship – but that’s exactly what we expect here.”

Las Vegas should have plenty of cap space in the offseason and is currently in very solid financial shape, meaning it can certainly afford to extend Crosby.

The question is, of course, Would Crosby be open? a long-term deal at this point?

The Eastern Michigan product may want to make sure the Raiders are headed in a positive direction before committing to anything, and right now Las Vegas has a lot to prove in that regard.

However, he has made it clear that he wants to spend his entire career with the Silver and Black and retire as a Raider. He wants to be with Las Vegas.

This is an absolutely critical offseason for the Raiders, who have plenty of holes to fill on the roster and desperately need to make a big splash in the NFL Draft.

For a Las Vegas squad that may have chosen Shedeur Sanders, falling down the draft order was devastating, but that doesn’t mean the Raiders don’t still have a chance to sign a player with their debut franchise-changing round pick.

Crosby played in 12 games this season before being placed on the injured reserve list. He recorded 45 tackles, 7.5 sacks and five passes defensed.

Even though Crosby missed significant time in 2024, he was still selected to the Pro Bowl for the fourth consecutive year.
