FORECAST

San Antonio is expecting a cool, fairly cloudy and windy Thursday afternoon with high temperatures barely climbing above the low 60s. Wind gusts of up to 25 miles per hour are possible.

A cool, mostly cloudy and windy Thursday afternoon is ahead.

Colder air will settle in the area tonight. We’ll wake up Friday morning in the mid-40s. As a high low approaches, light rain will occur over the area on Friday, particularly in the second half of the day. It won’t rain all day, but occasional showers will keep it humid. It also stays cool. The high temperatures only reach the low 50°C.

Scattered rain and occasional claps of thunder are still forecast for Saturday. This will keep us cold. In fact, in many places it will be difficult to get above 50°. This likely affects the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon 5K and 10K races.

Rain showers will ease late Sunday morning. Unfortunately the marathon still looks a bit wet and cold. At the start of the race temperatures will be between 40 and 50°C. Skies will clear Sunday afternoon and temperatures are expected to rise to the upper 60s.

I wish you a nice afternoon!
