Rain, wind and snow this week

We say goodbye to the warm and sunny weather tomorrow, as the first of two storms this week brings rain to the county.

After 2 a.m. we will see the chance of showering with rainy times until the morning day. The most widespread rain tomorrow is between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. and 7/20 in the afternoon with a slight probability of thunderstorms that can generate heavy rains and small hail. Be prepared for a slow evening pendulum.

The rainfall with a storm is on average between 0.25 and 0.75 “for the coast and the valleys, 0.50 to 1.00” in the mountains and less than 0.20 “in the deserts.

The snow mirror remains high with Storm One over 5,500 to 6,000, which means that we will usually see rain in the mountains.

Tomorrow with southern gusts from 20 to 30 km / h for the coast and the valleys and up to 45 km / h in the mountains and deserts, the winds will be picked up in the mountains and deserts.

Wednesday will be a drier day, but will remain insecure, possible with a few isolated showers.

Storm 2 will be widespread, heavy rain and also much colder with lower snow. The worst rain on Thursday will be early in the morning and continue the morning commuting. If you can choose a day to work from home, Thursday would be a good day so as not to be on the streets.

The floods will be a problem on Thursday, with flooding from the coast to the mountains from Wednesday to 6 p.m. on Thursday. The San Diego River can flood together with other areas in the county when heavy rain moves in. This storm sees what we saw with similar effects last week on Thursday.

The amount of precipitation for Storm Two will be higher and for the coast and the valleys on average between 0.75 and 1.50 “, 1 to 3” in the mountains and less than 0.50 “in the deserts.

The snow mirror fell between 3,500 and 4,000 on Thursday, which is about as low as last week. So expect similar conditions. The higher mountains of Palomar Mountain, Mt. Laguna and Lookout Mountain may receive 3 to 10 “snow, while areas over 4,000 ‘probably get 1 to 3” snow, including Julian and Ranchita. A light snow dust is even possible for Pine Valley, Descanso, Warner Springs and maybe even for the deserts, although it doesn’t stay long.

A winter storm clock will come into force in the mountains from Thursday to Friday to Friday from 12 p.m. for the expected snow and gusts of up to 60 km / h. The journey through the mountains will be dangerous on Thursday to Friday and should be avoided if possible, but if you have to, wear chains.

The winds will be built on Wednesday to Thursday with western gusts from 20 to 35 km / h for the coast and the valleys and 45 to 60 km / h for the mountains and deserts.

Isolated showers are possible on Friday before we dry out and warm up the weekend. A weaker storm will bring another rainy probability to Tuesday next week next week.

While this rain will help to record a dent in our drought conditions, we will not completely clarify it. Our deficit is over 5.50 “and we stay in level three drought or extreme drought.

Tuesday high:
Coast: 59-63 °
Domestic: 57-64 °
Mountains: 43-55 °
Deserts: 66-68 °
