Raleigh store hit by car for second day in a row

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Just a day after it was hit by a truck on ThanksgivingA Raleigh business was involved in another one-vehicle incident.

The Raleigh Fire Department confirmed that a car crashed into a check cashing building on New Bern Avenue Friday evening. The building had sustained significant damage after being hit by the truck the previous afternoon.

According to Raleigh police, the driver of the car said he was struck by another vehicle, causing him to crash into the building. The other vehicle fled the scene of the accident.

The car has remained in the shop since Friday evening.
