The Rangers urgently need two points and as Jonny Lazarus explains, they are in a great place to pick them up against the devils.

There is no doubt that this is a must for the New York Rangers who find two points from the playoffs. The New Jersey Devils won two games in a row in a home and at home against Minnesota, but this afternoon these two teams want to extend their respective victory strips to three games.
My Rangers vs. Devils forecasts and NHL selection explain why I prefer visitors in this metro division on April 5.
Rangers VS Devils forecast
My best bet: Rangers Moneyline (+102 at Fanduel)
My analysis
The last time these two teams met, was on January 9th in Madison Square Garden, where Sam Carrick was overtime hero in a 3-2 victory for the New York Rangers. Today this game is as important as the Road team. The Montreal Canadiens have taken control of the second Wild Card spot and could possibly run away if the rangers do not keep pace.
Artemi Panarin has caught fire in the past few weeks and has been carrying the team offensive in his last nine games with six goals and seven templates. Panarin didn’t do it alone, he got some help from Vincent Trocheck and JT Miller, who scored nine points in their last nine games.
As a team, the Rangers have trained the New Jersey Devils in recent weeks. In their last nine games, the Rangers score 3.33 goals per game, but their power play was terrible and only clicked with a rate of 4.4%, which is incredibly alarming.
However, the devils only score 2.78 goals per game in the last nine, but their power game was much better than the Rangers at a clip of 31.8%.
Jacob Markstrom should be at the finish line for New Jersey, but his numbers have not been so pretty lately. He is 3-2-1 in his last six starts, while skating with 3.28 goals with an average of 3.28 goals with a percentage of 0.872. Igor Shesterkin is likely to start for the Rangers, and in his last 10 games, he has a saver of savings over the skating to 0.902 and 2.93 goals against the average over skate of 0.902 saving percentage goals.
It won’t be easy for the Rangers, but hopefully you can find a way.
Rangers VS Devils Same-Game Parlay (SGP)
Rangers Moneyline
Artemi Panarin 1+ point
JT Miller 1+ points
Artemi Panarin has recently been three points with three goals and seven templates in this period with a three-game point. He had seven shots in the team’s most recent game and should remain just as aggressive in today’s competition against the devils. The Rangers offensive goes through it, they need him to take over this game.
JT Miller drives his own five-game top and he has just been put on the Rangers Top Power Play unit to help them get out of their slump. In these five games he has three goals and five templates. Miller has been an offensive machine since he came to the Rangers in January and appeared in the moments when they need it.
