The jury was so unimpressed with his performance that they left second place empty.
With the action thriller “Project Silence”, Ju Ji Hoon is at the top of the list of “over the top actors”. Fourth place is a tie between Song Joong Ki and Song Seung Hun for different reasons. Song Joong Ki from My Name Is Loh Kiwan was criticized for his uneven acting in the film, not to mention his questionable Yanbian accent. Song Seung Hun’s “flat performance” in “Hidden Face” couldn’t save him from being overshadowed by some of his fellow actors.
The “Worst Manners” category included professional and personal scandals. Jung Woo Sung was the front runner with the recent paternity scandal that wiped out the accolades of his career. He headlined “12.12: The Day,” which dominated all of this year’s South Korean awards shows, but his romance with model Moon Ga Bi and a long-term relationship worried the public.
Oscar winner Youn Yuh Jung (Minari) was also nominated for rudeness, including asking journalists her age during interviews and smoking indoors. Critics said that “she blurred the fine line between honesty and rudeness.”
The two who shared third place were Jeon Do Yeon and the late Lee Sun Kyun.
