Ravens are waiting for the NFL to end Justin Tucker

Palm Beach, Florida – Baltimore Ravens President Sashi Brown said on Sunday that the team would not make a decision about the future of kicker Justin Tucker with the franchise until the NFL has completed its investigation due to sexual misconduct.

“From our point of view, we want to ensure that we have a great understanding of the facts, an actual understanding of the facts, hear both sides of the situation and that we allow the examination to be carried out and completed properly and to make decisions on the basis of the full information,” said Brown as reporters in Baltimore.

According to Baltimore Banner, Tucker was accused of 16 massage therapists from eight Baltimore spas and wellness centers for inappropriate behavior. All incidents were reportedly the first five seasons in the NFL during the meetings from 2012 to 2016, Tuckers.

The investigators of the NFL spoke to some women last month who accused Tucker of sexual misconduct, ESPN said. In 2021 it took five months for the league and the player union to complete a settlement in Cleveland Browns Quarterback Deshaun Watson Watson.

On Tuesday, Brown stated that the Ravens received “regular updates” from the league.

“We would be happy that this happens much faster than it,” said Brown. “From our point of view, we have to allow the examination (to the conclusion). The NFL understands the urgency that surrounds these kind of situations and accusations, and so we have to allow them to give them time.

Tucker publicly denied the allegations and made an explanation on social media in January, in which he described the allegations as “clearly wrong”. He was accused by the women of sexually inappropriate behavior, which also included the unveiling of his genitals, the Zäuung of some women with his exposed penis and what they have as ejaculating on the massage table.

Until the investigation is completed, Brown said that Tucker on the Ravens program of the offseason conditioning program, which begins on April 21, and the offseason exercises of the team in May and June may take part.

“This is all that rules the CBA and the personal behavioral policy of the NFL,” said Brown.

While Tucker’s status stays in the suspension at the Ravens, General Manager Eric Decosta and coach John Harbaugh confirmed both in the NFL combine in February that Baltimore kicker looks at the draft.

The 35-year-old Tucker is the most accurate kicker in NFL history, but he has had the worst season of his 13-year career. He missed a total of 10 kicks last season.

If the Ravens take part in Tucker, you will probably have to call it a reduction after June 1st to share the dead money of $ 7.5 million in two seasons and to gain $ 4.2 million in terms of salary limit this year. But no decision seems to be imminent.

“One of the great things about the fact that the NFL does this is that it gives the team more independent,” said Brown. “And so we try to respect and stay over an arm length while doing your investigation.”
