Resident Evils Multiplayer spin-off Re: Verse: Verse will be closed later this year

Resident Evil Re: Verse, the multiplayer spin-off, announced in addition to Resident Evil Village, is closed. Capcom says that the game and its DLC will be triggered from the shops next month and its servers will go offline in June.

“Resident Evil Re: Verse was developed on the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil series, and their overwhelming support for the game has far exceeded our expectations since its publication. Now that we have reached a new turning point. that Resident Evil Re: Verse is admirable to their original, solemn purpose, “says Capcom’s announcement of the end of the service.

“We are incredibly grateful for your warm support for Resident Evil Re: Verse: We deeply apologize for the fact that you have brought you this disappointing news.”

Subject: Verse and the entire DLC will be removed from online stores on March 3 at 9 p.m. PST (4th March at 5 a.m.). The servers will go offline on June 29 at 11:59 p.m. PDT (June 30th at 8:59 a.m.). The game is no longer playable when the servers are switched off.

The multiplayer spin-off is a six-player deathmatch with playable delicacies from the long history and potions of the series, which temporarily transform them into one of its many bad guys. It was not well received when it started in 2022. The publication of a multiplayer spin-off that nobody wants, nobody likes it and then shortly afterwards, everything is very capcom, bless them.

The above explanation alludes to a “new turning point for the series”. Rumors continue to be announced by Resident Evil 9, which will take place at some point this year.
