Sadderly talked to Yahoo Entertainment Night dish, his heritage and his new appearance as an announcer Everyone lives With John Mulaney.

This interview was processed for length and clarity.

Tell me what is going on with Sy Hoffman in this episode of Night dish?

You have to speak a little louder.

What is that? Can you hear me?

I can hear you. It’s me. I drive through Palm Springs and it’s windy outside.

OK no problem. So tell me what’s wrong with SY in this episode? What does he plan to do?

Oh, he is a producer!

Yes! What does he produce?

You ask me as if I would take this stuff seriously (laughs)! It comes into play and I don’t know what the hell – I did it five months ago.

Ok, I love that –

Speech Lauter. Talk like you are talking to a deaf man.

Is your Night dish Character, sy, inspired by someone?

I did the piece The producers On Broadway. It is the sitcom version of (Max Bialystock, a Down-on-His-Luck producer). But you know that every producer is a producer.

There is a scene in Night dish If you eat a sandwich and admire people nearby, how insatiable you do. How often did you have to do that?

I had to eat this sandwich a lot. Whenever I go to a deli, I never order Pastrami or Corned Beef. It’s bad for me. I try to eat healthy. But that – I do that for my art, why not? I didn’t spit it out after the setting was over – I never do that. I just finished it. It was delicious.

OK. I will just scream. So you are now famous for your ability to make cameras or guest appearances in every single show. You have this reputation as someone who is so generous with your time.

Well, I have to tell you. I don’t try to do too many of them in television programs because there is a stigma when there are so many as a guest. They seem that they couldn’t be a regular guest. But I’m regularly in many television programs, so I think I have to keep that. But if you ask me to come in for once and it is fun, what the hell! I’ll do it. I like to work. I wish it was not a stigma because I would like to consider all of these things as a repertoire. You go inside and get another playground to play.

That sounds so funny! I recently saw you on Broadway – in Everything inin which John Mulaney could be seen. Are you excited to work with him as his announcer for his new Netflix show? Everyone lives?

It delights me. John Mulaney delights me. Making the show is startled by me.

Oh no! Why?

Because we live! We live all over the world! What if I say something stupid? What if I show my true colors? (Mulaney) is so smart and you want to be as smart as he is. He has great guests and they want to serve the guests. I’m afraid. It is very scary.

Is there anything else you weren’t there yet where you want to play a guest role?

There is a whole world of things! But I just like to do the work.
