Rookie does not provide hard losses against Chet Holmgren without thunder (March 5)

Zach Edey and the Memphis Grizzlies came up in a crucial regular season game against No. 1 team in the Western Conference, The Okc Thunder. Edey kept his place in the starting line -up and joined Morant, Jaylen Wells, Desmond Bane and Vince Williams Jr.

The fans were disappointed not to see a Matchup between two seven folders, since Okcs 7-foot 1-man Chet Holmgren missed the game due to a leg injury. In the meantime, Edey focused on the present task and determined to fulfill his role in the grizzlies.

He did not deliver for the grizzlies and ended the game with only six points on 3 of 8 shots from the ground. Zach Edey recorded nine rebounds and a steal in 19:50 minutes and ends with a plus/minus of -10.

The former Purdue star did not have an explosive start in the game, played with a reserved approach and lacks an aggressive offensive. He tried only two shots in the first quarter.

In the second quarter, the rookie continued to play on the offensive with a reserved approach and did not forced games. In the time he made two more shots and made one of them.

At halftime, Zach Edey had two points on 2 out of 4 shots from the ground. He also recorded four rebounds and a steal in 12:26 minutes.

After half -time, Edey took control of the boards in the third quarter alone. He also added two more points when the grizzlies stopped at the double -digit deficit.

In the fourth quarter, however, Edey was practically not present when the thunder flies the grizzlies. Memphis fell at home 120-103 and marked her fourth defeat in the league in a row.
