Roswell couple killed in Alabama Double Shooting, deformed son -in -law for murder

Atlanta, Ga. (Atlanta News First)-A couple from Roswell was killed at a shootout in Alabama and, according to law enforcement officers, his son-in-law is charged because of her death.

Michael McKenzie (72) and Darla McKenzie (68) were killed at the shootout when they were in Alabama and visited her daughter and her son -in -law, later identified as Christopher Johnson. WBRC, the sister station of Atlanta News First in Birmingham, reported.

The 38 -year -old Johnson was charged with two cases of capital murder.

The Sheriff’s office by Etowah County, Alabama, said they believe that there was a dispute in front of the shootout, but a motive is not known.

Johnson is held in the Etowah County prison in Alabama.

Etowah County is just over two hours west of Atlanta.
