Rots activate McLain, Hays and Diaz from the injured list in front of the series against Mariners

The Cincinnati Reds will receive a thrust on Tuesday, as three players return from the injured list before their upcoming series against the Seattle Mariners.

On Tuesday, the Reds announced that the second Baseman Matt McLain, Outfield Austin Hays and the relief mug Alexis Diaz were activated.

In eight games in 2025, McLain scored three Homeruns, drove in five runs and scored seven times.

McLain went on the injured list of a left thigh strain last week.

Neither Hays nor Diaz performed in a game with the red this season, while they deal with injuries to calf or thighs.

After earlier stints, Hays entered his first season with the Phillies from Baltimore Orioles and Philadelphia with the red.

From 2021 to 24 years, in which Hays was regularly played with the Orioles and Phillies, Hays scored eight percent above the league average .260/.312/.433.

Diaz, an all-star in 2023, worked closer to the Majors as Reds for a large part of his three seasons and has saved 75 games with 2.93 ERA since the debut in 2022.

Diaz ‘3.99 Era last season was the highest license plate of his previous three -year career, even though he still achieved 28 parades.

The red optional outfield Jacob Hurbise and Infieldder Noelvi Marte to Triple-A Louisville to make room on the squad.
