Ryan Seacrest fans congratulate him on his career milestone

Ryan Seacrest always has something in the works and he’s celebrating one of his most popular TV appearances with a pretty big milestone!

As fans know, the media mogul is very busy with hosting Wheel of Fortune And American Idol on TV. Well, every New Year’s Eve, Ryan also becomes host of ABC Dick Clark’s rockin’ New Year’s Evewhich has been broadcast live from New York City since 1973. He also took part in the annual celebration Dick Clark in 2005, and he has been part of the hour-long show ever since.

Now, after two decades of hosting Dick Clark’s rockin’ New Year’s EveRyan marks an important milestone with the program. Not only will he be back as co-host of the show (alongside New American Idol Judge Carrie Underwood), he will also be the face of the series for the 20th time. What’s more, Rocking New Year’s EveThe official Instagram account decided to commemorate the special moment for Ryan with a video montage ahead of its broadcast in 2025.

“20 years of iconic countdowns with @ryanseacrest! 🎉✨,” the caption read on December 13th. “Join us in celebrating his two-decade legacy on #RockinEve! Don’t miss the party → New Year’s Eve at 8/7c on @abc!”

When people found out Ryan would be celebrating a TV milestone in his career, it was no surprise how quickly they congratulated him in the comments.

“20 years, that’s fantastic, I hope to see each other for another 30 years! Now dim the lights! ❤️❤️❤️,” one person wrote. “This is great! You’re doing such a great job @ryanseacrest. I hope to get there a year to see how the ball drops! It’s on my wish list,” explained another. “To Ryan, the best man for the job,” another follower added.

Now, how will this version of Rocking New Year’s Eve be different than Ryan’s shows of previous years? In addition to Carrie, who will co-headline the celebrations in 2025, ABC reported that a number of popular singers from several parts of the country will be performing.

Fans will watch it from New York City TLC Light up Times Square with a special performance Blake Shelton will perform from Las Vegas. The appearances include other well-known faces Alanis Morissette, Renée Rapp, Natasha Bedingfield and more live on the West Coast in Los Angeles.
