Samsung’s The Frame smart TVs have come a long way since their release in 2017. One of the newer features, released last year, was introduced to appeal to the audience that wants a large TV but doesn’t want that TV to dominate their decor. It introduced an anti-glare, matte display that takes the “framed artwork” aspect to new levels – and with 4K picture quality. As the name suggests, the appeal of this TV is that it can double as a digital art frame with its anti-reflective matte display and customizable frame.

I first saw the 2022 version up close when it was released, although admittedly my brother had me convinced it was a real painting (it really looks like it). The matte screen makes the TV look like a painting and is great for bright rooms where the screen might otherwise cause a lot of glare. This version had one “Average” rating from PCMag This is mainly due to the poor contrast and the price. However, the new 2024 version is the latest generation of this series and has notable improvements.

With a Quantum 4K processor, you get an improved 120Hz refresh rate, the same QLED display, and 4K resolution. You can buy frames separately according to your taste and even design them with a Harry Potter theme like this guy did on TikTok.
