San Diego Weather is too cold from hot temperatures and rainy – NBC 7 San Diego

After the Santa ana winds and record temperatures of this week, San Diego is a weating this weekend.

On Thursday, temperature recordings were broken for the day in Vista, Chula Vista, Escondido and El Cajon. But less than 24 hours later the gray sky and the chance of rain took over the weather pattern of San Diego.

“The difference between yesterday (Thursday) and today (Friday), in some cases we speak almost 20 degrees in terms of their temperatures,” said the meteorologist from NBC 7 Brooke Martell.

Several storm systems have the opportunity to bring rain to San Diego County over the weekend and next week.

The first could bring some very light -striped showers overnight Friday and all day on Saturday, but it will probably not be much – and not everyone will see it.

“That will bring us a lot of colder weather,” said the NBC 7 meteorologist Francella Perez. “We will also bring a few gusty winds over the mountains and the deserts, some big surfing.”

The better chance of showering comes on Sunday evening and on Monday when a second system goes to the region. And a third system could bring more rain by the next week.

“Mondays Type of the day with the higher rain opportunities for us on site,” said Martell. “You can see how much we could get, maybe about a quarter inch for the coast; a little more than that for the valleys; up to half a customs for the mountains and possibly some snow.”

Perez said there is a third system for Wednesday or Friday with the possibility of an atmospheric river.
