If you try to get it “I caught a shooting star trophy” for Monster Hunter Wilds (Or just work on Samin’s side mission) You have to find and record a Sandstar. These cute little mouse -looking creatures can only be found in a certain area scheme Monster Hunter WildsAnd this guide shows you where to find them and how you can catch one in your capture network.

Sandstar place in MH Wilds

There are a few things you need to know about the sandstar before you go out and follow it.

• You are fast, but you can use Screamer pods to slow them down. Otherwise try to use yours Ghillie Mantle sneak behind the creature as she crouches, or use the speed of your riding animal Sandstar.

  In the wind graves (They fall from Baunos in areas 11 and 13).

How to catch the sandstar in MH Wilds

As soon as you are in the perfect position to catch the small idiot, equip your capture network by scrolling through the element bar with L1/LB. Then press square/x to equip it. Then shoot the network onto the monster with R2/RT. Remember that you can shoot the network while driving on your Seiskret. Use this if you feel that the sandstar does not slow down.

When the sand star is captured, the players deserve the ”I caught a trophy/performance of the shooting star.
