Seth Rollins touts the longevity of his career compared to WWE icon – TJR Wrestling

Seth Rollins is proud of his WWE career so far while comparing himself to a legend.

Seth Rollins’ legacy in the WWE is assured as the five-time world champion has done it all in the company he has been a part of for 14 years. Rollins has won every championship you can win in the company, while also being one of the top villains for years and also one of the most popular stars with a catchy theme song.

When it comes to in-ring performance, Seth Rollins is considered one of the best in the business, able to hold his own against anyone at any time, whether they’re as big as Rey Mysterio or Bronson Reed.

During an interview with the Jason Khalipa Podcast, Seth Rollins spoke about his longevity in WWE and also mentioned The Rock’s career. While Rollins has yet to wrestle The Rock in a singles match in WWE, The Rock & Roman Reigns defeated Rollins & Cody Rhodes in the WrestleMania 40 main event last April.

“For example, look at people who The Rock…The Rock’s run in WWE lasted about five years. He was only in the WWE for about five years. That’s it. About 97 to 02 and a little later. But that was his main run.

And I’ve been with the company for, what, thirteen years? I’ve been on the main roster for eleven, ten years… no, no, I lied, I’ve been on the main roster for twelve years and with the company for fourteen years. And I feel like there’s still a lot left.”

As WWE fans know, The Rock’s run with the company was shorter because he pursued a career in Hollywood, which was a smart move for him that worked out well. Rollins likely wasn’t disrespecting Rock with his comments, but rather using them as an example of how long Rollins has been a top star in the company.

Seth Rollins will discuss CM Punk on WWE Monday Night Raw

WWE’s Jackie Redmond has announced that she will be doing a sitdown interview with Seth Rollins on December 23rd’s Raw. He is expected to reveal more about his past with CM Punk.

One of the big matches for WWE’s Raw debut on Netflix on January 6th will see Seth Rollins take on CM Punk. It’s a match that’s been brewing since Punk returned to WWE over a year ago at Survivor Series 2023 in Chicago.
