Police officers from Las Cruces reacted to reports over several shots fired in Young Park

The Las Cruces police officers responded to reports about several shots fired on Friday on Friday in Young Park, reported on the law enforcement authorities. No information about the suspect or the victims was revealed. The situation in New Mexico is still developing.

According to Breaking News Arte @rawsalter, there were reports of several injuries and even deaths. Videos from the scene showed several numerous law enforcement and emergency crews on site. “Local news agencies report that at least five people, possibly more, were shot, although the exact number of injuries and deaths remains unclear. Since this is a rapidly developing and active situation, the police ask the public to avoid the area,” wrote the X -Handle.

Salina Madrid von Kfox, who reported on the scene, confirmed that at least one person was dead and that several locals were wounded in Young Park. The police authority has not yet made an official statement.

Young Park is a popular municipal park in the 850 s Walnut Street in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Las Cruces Police addressing March 13th

At the beginning of this week, Las Cruces Police Department Chef Jeremy Story spoke the shootout in South Main Street, who injured an armed man. The incident took place on March 13th.

The suspect was identified as 19-year-old Gabriel Padilla. The chief of police confirmed that he was hit by shots at least once. He was then taken to a regional hospital in which he stays in a serious but stable state.

“When he is released from the hospital, he is admitted to the Dona Ana County’s duke,” confirmed Story. Padilla was charged with a serious attack on a peace officer who negligently used a fatal weapon and contradicted an officer, has an impact or hindered.
