Simon Business School announces master’s programs with lower tuition fees

The Simon Business School at the University of Rochester is expanding its full-time MS offerings – with new courses in artificial intelligence and technology – that are more affordable than other programs.

By streamlining program delivery, the school will offer more affordable pricing, significantly reducing base fees for full-time MS degree programs – by more than $10,000 per program – and thus offering more competitive pricing compared to other top 50 business programs said school principals.

Additionally, based on student feedback, Simon has postponed the start date for all full-time MS degree programs to August.

“The program improvements are driven by the changing needs of the market,” said Sevin Yeltekin, dean of Simon Business School. “Broadly integrating AI into our MS programs, offering relevant specializations and maintaining competitive pricing reflect our commitment to delivering exceptional value.”

Yeltekin added that the customizable programs include basic AI courses and workshops as well as specialized courses.

In addition to adding core AI content across all MS programs, Simon recently launched the full-time Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence in Business, a STEM-focused program that equips students with the technical, strategic and practical skills what they need to use AI for business benefit. Applications are possible now, the next courses start in August.

Simon’s MS in Finance program has also expanded to include specific concentrations in investment management and financial analysis, corporate financial strategy and investment banking, and financial technology and innovation.

Simon Business School will be holding one virtual information event on MS program options and enhancements on Thursday, December 19th at 9:00 a.m
