Sixers Bell Ringer: Lonnie Walker IV has the best game as a Sixer, while lottery chances are better

The Sixers lost the game, but won the entrance and fell on the Toronto Raptors on Sunday at 127-109 in the Wells Fargo Center.

Lonnie Walker IV had his second start for the Sixers and was aggressive early. With Grimes someone had to take over the goal charge and Walker did just that. He came downhill and attacked the edge that seemed to get him running. He met a few pull-up jumpers and was 3 out of 7 out of three.

What more than the goal was Walker’s play chops. He had a team high seven templates on Sunday. He was able to find Adem Bona in some duck ins. He also had this absolute frozen frozen rope without a look in the second half with Jalen Hood-Schifino.

Walker has a team option and it will be interesting to see where it fits. We all knew that he could put the ball in the hole. If he shows more game skills, this could make him another fascinating option in the Sixers’ Guard Mix.

Adem Bona: 14 points, 8 rebounds, 5 blocks, 1 steal

Bona only got his fourth start of the season and seemed determined to take the opportunity to take the opportunity. It wasn’t just Walker who found bona. Nevertheless, Hood-Schifino has recently had more repetitions than pure Point Guard with so many injured boys and Jeff Dowtin Jr. on NBA days. You can see how your comfort level grows with every game.

In this case, he was anything but perfect, as his five sales would state. Led by the annoying Jamal-Shad, Jared Butler and Hood-Schifino sometimes reached the raptors ball pressure. Nevertheless, you can see why he was the 16th overall selection not too long ago. At 6-foot 6, he is large for a point guard and can overlook the defense. He is solidly built and can reach his places on the ground. His jumper has been largely good here since his arrival. He is also a decent defender.

The big thing for the future of Hood-Schifino will be health. He was subjected to a lumbar microdiscomy procedure a little more than a year ago and hardly played at any level this season. There are fascinating properties when the Sixers will get back to a two-way deal next season.
